A Special Diaper Cake gift for Maiko

Maiko turned 10month July30. We cerebrated to make a diaper cake!
She was hopping to wait her baby girl  for a few weeks...
She declared " I will be back to the class with healthy baby "
Seems the baby Hana could not wait to see us, Maiko delivered her baby 4 days after the this diaper cake gift.   Congrats, Maiko!

July 4, annual Ballet Picnic back!

Happy 4th of July!
again, this year we had our annual ballet picnic at Golden Gate Park.

It was just the 4 of us this year, most everyone had family commitments,
or was traveling.

We had a lovely fresh air workout and a nice sweat under the tree with
the birds and squirrels wondering whats going on. Everyone shared
homemade delights from their heart, before we went on a walk through the
park admiring the flowers and the bamboo....
Our lovely memories must keep go on to next.

Glowing Easter Hatching! A Success Story...

Loved ones know just how much they mean to you this Easter season from your extra special "Spring" wishes. My wish for all of you is your continued growth from and with my classes.

I would like to share this success story.... a story like from a glowing Easter egg hatching.

This April 9,  Evan turned 2 years old. He joined Baby-Mom Ballet with his mom Laura last Sept. Since they've joined class, they only missed one class sick, they never came late, never skipped and always practiced hard with joy. Since February he studied Passe and Arabesque in the class with mom.

Now, he started doing passe in the kitchen naturally. Mom Laura sent me this lovely picture!

On April 15,  Baby Evan and Mom Laura, Baby Kanna and Mom Yukiko and Baby Keisuke and Mom Chika will do a pre-show performance.

Great experience! 2016 11th Annual performance

Our 11th annual performance happened on Sunday, Oct 30, 2016.  Despite stormy weather in the morning, dancers gathered and prepared for it to be a great performance. 

And then, about 1hr before the start of our performance, suddenly sun came out and bathed the studio in bright warm sunshine. It's like the Sun celebrated our special day!

Thank you Sun and nature!!

I was very happy to see how all dancers improved within the last few years. More than that, everybody had very beautiful costumes this time! 

Thank you, all dancers, for your understanding to make this happen. 

So audience could see Blue / Red / White colors whirling in the space.

Mid Summer special hartful gift for the elders.

6/12/16, We had a special volunteer visit to elderly home KOKORO as a mid summer greeting. 

I deeply appreciate that who was volunteer this special event from bottom your hart and specially to help for senior residents to enjoy this event with us. Also remarkable thing is Yosuyo Sato who is the one one senior member of my class, She was volunteer to take pictures. Thank you for all!
Even tho's some students could not make this, but I know your love to support this humble and lovely event.

and for us. SInce 2012  has been volunteering for this senior home for only X'mas holiday season. 

This is Summer,  additionally We would like to share the joyful moments of sharing ballet together with  seniors.

 Although it was  a surprise visit, I was very happy to see the residents' smiles, and be able to connect with them more in directly and I could see their happy and joyful moments! 

Humbly,  Love and Peace in this earth,  we must remember to share and support each other beyond the ego.
I wish to do so.

Beyond the age. Yasuyo became 70yrs old and Plus

Yasuyo has been taking my special classes since 3 years ago. When she started ballet with us, she was already over 70years old. Her spine had not natural carve and her neck was sink into her thoracic. I knew it was  big challenges for her  to study ballet with young people. however she has taken  classes with her condition year around. Year by year established her core  and muscle connection.  It was last year, she became serious for ballet. Then I could see her huge progress on her body and her ability  to work with her pelvis activity. 2016 after the 3 years trained with us, her spine is getting stronger and longer. Mostly She is so happy to get her body rejuvenated and recognized her progress her body invisible. Ballet is not only the style, this is the best way to keep your body stronger as en elegant body work.  Her another birthday came on Feb.9. She got an age, but her body get an year younger she felt. We cerebrated her birthday Feb11. Congrats, Yasuyo and keep shine with us!  Btw, She was a ballerina when she was  in an elementally school in Japan. She shared me her performance pic with her mom's hand made tutu. After the elementally school graduated, she quitted ballet training. After 60yars later, she could practice ballet with us . She has been appreciate our training style to get enjoy and access all ages .

Yasuno back to Ballet traininh with us, she became stronger her body. she enjoyed ballet training with young people.

A special performance for light up somebody's heart

Just one smile from your happy face can lighten up the darkest day. I wish I cam able to do this all the time.  This simple wishing  let  my motor of the passion to the dance and making choreographies.

Annually we have been visiting senior home KOKORO  in SF to send flowers with our smile. 2015 Dec20, We visited there with a special performance  include special music live play by Megumi, Kyoko and Sayaka.All dancer: Ronnie, Wolfgang, Yoko, Yuka, Momo Fukami.

Sayaha has 1years old baby. This little baby helped our volunteer  service to light up to senior people.How her smile led brighter for old people's hearts. 

Momo who delivered her baby this summer also performed for this volunteer service despite her  busy baby care.
Yuka was very short time to practice so many things for this special performance !  All dancers were very busy and tight schedule for the end of the year schedule,they made a effort to pracice so many times for bright up somebody's heart. 
I deeply appreciate for all dancers and musicians made this happen. A feel just gratitude what we could lighten up somebody's heart 2015. We made it!
