All about performances 2015

Amazing, how time really flies by... We will have a fun new year soon!  Monique Ballet had a great 2015 year. When Looking back the year, our half of the year was just concentrated and working hard toward 2 performances. One was an annual performance and the other was for volunteer performance for senior has been continued for 5 years now!  Every single performance rehearsal was just " Do,Do,Do" and we did "Go, Go, Go". It might intense life experiences for normal life style people as how classical ballet rehearsal was.Even tho' I made really easy for them.  I know all dancers are combine working and practicing.   And all dances are adults, with the effects and habits of our daily lives etched into our bodies, pushing its alignment out of center, creating all kinds of problems. For example, sitting at the computer all day eventually will deform your upper back and tilt your wrists - both areas that are very important for ballet technique to work. Performing ballet technique, esp. jumps and turns under such condition can worsen or aggravate such situations and cause long term injuries, because you have to compensate in strange ways. And it still won't look good. It still won't be stable. That why I relentlessly emphasizing these little adjustments and corrections. They have a big effect, and are the key that brings you forward to the next level. And thats where want to see all our group dancers !!!  It is not personal. Over and over. Again and again. It takes time. All I want is to facilitate all dancers  improvement, and understanding. I hope all dancers  can take this challenge. Yes, I have been doing this for long time for my self improvement as find who I am and what I am doing for my life. I did all these and how 2015 became really progress year for all dancers.
