All about performances 2015

Amazing, how time really flies by... We will have a fun new year soon!  Monique Ballet had a great 2015 year. When Looking back the year, our half of the year was just concentrated and working hard toward 2 performances. One was an annual performance and the other was for volunteer performance for senior has been continued for 5 years now!  Every single performance rehearsal was just " Do,Do,Do" and we did "Go, Go, Go". It might intense life experiences for normal life style people as how classical ballet rehearsal was.Even tho' I made really easy for them.  I know all dancers are combine working and practicing.   And all dances are adults, with the effects and habits of our daily lives etched into our bodies, pushing its alignment out of center, creating all kinds of problems. For example, sitting at the computer all day eventually will deform your upper back and tilt your wrists - both areas that are very important for ballet technique to work. Performing ballet technique, esp. jumps and turns under such condition can worsen or aggravate such situations and cause long term injuries, because you have to compensate in strange ways. And it still won't look good. It still won't be stable. That why I relentlessly emphasizing these little adjustments and corrections. They have a big effect, and are the key that brings you forward to the next level. And thats where want to see all our group dancers !!!  It is not personal. Over and over. Again and again. It takes time. All I want is to facilitate all dancers  improvement, and understanding. I hope all dancers  can take this challenge. Yes, I have been doing this for long time for my self improvement as find who I am and what I am doing for my life. I did all these and how 2015 became really progress year for all dancers. We just have had a great Pre-performance Oct1 2015 with Yuka Kotegawa. It was a great memory for all of us. Congrat! Yuka ( Kotegawa),Asami,Yasuyo, Kristen! You guys were very great and keep on to shine to real performance. However we all miss Yuka for this real performance.Since she jointed us, we had so many fun times, 3 babies showers and seasonable events along a year. Most great notice is her ballet technique improvement. When she jointed us, She was no idea ballet... but she was hanging there and made her self changed.Not only her, Asami,Yasuyo and Kristen who have been taking introductory class are very great challenger.

Thank you for all to show us wonderful progress with your beautiful heart.

By the way, our annual performance will be on Sunday Nov 15, 7pm (door)Unbelievable, but true, our annual performance is coming up quickly!

I hope you will enjoy yourself and the audience and have the greatest fun doing so!

Babies time with us with our future!

Momo and her baby LIght!  We all supported her baby's delivery :D 

There have been quite a few celebrations during the last few months,
especially baby related!!
Its like scrolling through the picture of a whole human life.
Already 10 days after her babyshower, Momo gave birth to her son, if
thats not dynamic, what is!
We had Aki's baby shower just in July, celebrating her baby coming up in
September. We wish her a healthy delivery and can't wait to see the
little one.
And now, Chika is pregnant, too. She takes class nonetheless, Monique's
special instructions take good care of her and her baby.
That makes 3 babies already this year.
Just wondering - who's next?

Also Monique's Ballet SF will start "your" baby and ""You" special lesson from Sept 2015.

I just feel gratitude our encounters....
Our life is basis of LOVE and to be continued forever..... I knew I am here for created by my mom and dad with so many people's support of LOVE. I al here because  so many people love me.
Thank you for my life.  I love " you" encountered me. Deeply appreciate showing me such a beautiful life time in individual. Just simply to feel.

2015 May was great Graduation time

Graduate! 3 Girls,they did small good bye performance afeter we cerebrate them with cute cupcakes.

Already it's June and It's already finished soon.

Time is just passing by...

 

May was graduation season, time to gather self confidence to take the next step. It's a ceremony that can give us strength, when we trust other humans, we can rely on instincts, impart confidence or experience hope.

All with a feeling of certainty, faith and security.

 

Open towards what will be next: happy and exciting moments.

 

May 2015 Monique's Ballet SF has seen four dancers graduate:

 

Yasuno Yoshizawa, who moved to LA with her new husband on her 1st marriage!

 

as well as

 

Kana Hashimoto, Rima Miyagawa and Honoka Tanno,  who returned to Japan to complete their University degrees.

 

Some of them were with us only for a short time, but nonetheless, its not the amount of time spent that counts but the depth of understanding. All of them gave a lovely farewell performance, reminding us that performance it not about showing off, but lightening up other people's hearts. This shining only makes performances meaningful.

 

We wish them the best for their future, and, who knows, we might meet them again at a Monique's Ballet SF workshop in Japan...

Easter -Spring practice! 2015

Springtime arrived to the already warm and dry 2015's SF! It comes with flowers blossoming and plants growing fresh, with egg hunts, and most importantly, a visit from the Easter Eunny! The Bunny reminds you all of the beauty, joy and peace of the Easter season. It's a time of hope and often starts a new beginning in life. So be on the look-out around April 5for some brightly colored eggs and maybe even a jellybean or two. Happy Spring!. Happy Lunar New Year - Feb 19 2015, Year of the sheep

Happy Lunar New Year will be coming soon! We cerebrated Monique's Ballet SF lunar new year 2015 on Sun, Feb.1  a just ahead of February 19.

Everybody Jointed a joyous tribute to the time- festivities of the multicultural foods(Japanese, American,Chinese, Euro..)holiday celebration with new year hike adventure and finding what is about the nature beauty..

1hr nature hike with fresh air,showing time for bring foods. 

Woldgang- Organic Japanese makisushi collections(natto- ume, veggies). Yoko-Banana bread,Kotono-shiso pasta,Rima-apple cider,Yumi-ratatouille, potato salad, baguette,Ronnie-chikusenni,Minori-Kimuchi fried rice,Momo- Takoyaki,Yasuyo-Happy New Year cake,Yuka-Tapas,Monique-Tsumire soup and Pork belly stew.

We enjoyed Over the full course of this multicultural foods,We had a special New year greeting  from kitty "Gozi" for all to enjoy.

2014 Elderly's home "KOKORO " Volunteering performance!

It's been already 3 years that we are volunteering the Christmas performance at Kokoro.

 

I really want to say a big Thank You for your participation in and your efforts towards this performance.

Everyone has a very complicated schedule before the holidays. So I really appreciate this.

 

All that dedication and energy translates into an act of unconditional love to the seniors. Bringing this moment of joy to them will reflect back, and if you take it purely, will open up your life's expansion that much.

 

The day of the show, the smiles the seniors gave us were priceless. We handed 100 flowers to them, their care givers and everyone involved...

I really want to thank you all to be a part of this event every year! To bring love, joy, and incredible smiles to the senior audience who otherwise wont have much opportunities to experience it.

2014, we had a great time with them and we will be back to bring a new very special gift to them.

Lastly I would like to place this wonderful word as below. This word is representing  what is  foundation of our volunteering performance and what should be all of our life.
